The Game Plan For Sharing Your Faith

How often do you share your faith with unbelievers? Perhaps you feel afraid or you just don't know how to go about sharing your faith. Click on the following video link which aptly depicts the reservations and apprehensions that we sometimes feel when it comes to sharing our faith!

8 Reasons Why We Don't Share Our Faith

Although this video and its actors are very hilarious in their depictions of our emotions, doubts and fears when it comes to sharing our faith, the case in point is not a laughing matter.

Unbelievers have no hope apart from God. It doesn't matter how good one is, how esteemed by man he/she may be, how often one goes to church, how often one prays, how successful one may be or even how he/she gives alms to the poor. Their only hope of righteousness, eternal life and entrance into the Kingdom of God is through Christ Jesus.

Without Jesus their life is deprived, and what I mean by deprived is that, for the unbeliever there is no absolute, no solid foundation, nothing to anchor their faith, no inner peace and nothing to believe in. It is inherent human nature to believe in something bigger than yourself and this desire was put their by God for us to seek Him out and to find ourselves in Him. Unbelievers cling to things, people, the markets and the worlds' way of doing things. This is why you may see them trying to fulfill their lives with possessions, doing good deeds, some are very success driven and endeavoring to surround themselves with an endless array of people and when the markets fluctuates they themselves are unbalanced and tossed to and from and are on an endless stress filled, emotional rollacoster.

Wherever your beliefs and convictions lie, there you will gather up for yourselves that which supports your beliefs, however; all the aforementioned are rooted in impermanence and instability, thus evoking choices and actions that are all rooted in fear.

Let me just say: As believers we have possessions and things as well and we also have a network of people, however; we do not place undue importance on our possessions (in other words we have things, our things do not have us), (we master our money, our money does not master us), (we understand that money has a mission and withouta mission it is just materialism) and (we know that the the world really works by giving), we see people as our fellowmen to serve and to love not merely to fulfill a selfish or insecure endeavor. We make choices with God's Word in mind; our relationship with God, His Word; and with our fellowmen, inherently brings us and our generations blessings and happiness. When we sin we do not wrap ourselves with depression and condemnation, we run to Christ Jesus and lay it at His feet and then we are renewed and strengthen with new and tender mercies. In essence, our central radiating point is oneness with the Father through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

You see without the Righteousness of Jesus and the Holy spirit as a constant guide and companion this type of Kingdom of God thinking and being is impossible. So when we share our faith and they believe we are impacting heaven and earth it is written in scripture that the Angels actually rejoice!

As believers we have the responsibility to share the Good News with unbelievers the hope that is within us! We must share that the righteousness through Christ Jesus gives us confidence, hope and assurance. Assurance that our sins are forgiven, that we have eternal life, that we have a crown of life, that we are heir's to the Kingdom, that we have a promise of God's eternal rest, the promise of eternal inheritance, partakers of the Divine nature, that we too have pressure on every side, however; we have hope and confidence that we will not be crushed. That we may weep for a night, however; that joy comes in the morning. That every promise of God is YES! Amen.

Now, to share your faith effectively and biblically, you must first understand what God's Will is for the redemption of mankind. It is God's will that all men come to repentance. Lets examine...

My computer defines repentance as to acknowledge one's wrong and to turn away from it or a change of thought and action to correct a wrong and gain forgiveness from the one wronged. In religious contexts it usually refers to confession to God, ceasing sin against Him, and resolving to live according to His law.

"Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." 1 Timothy 2:4-6

Will all of mankind be saved and redeemed, probably not. Man has an endowment of personal choice, which allows him to choose what he will believe. He can choose to follow God's design for righteousness or his own, however; his own will not allow him righteousness or right standing with God and access to eternal life, it only leads to death. God has set before us blessings and curses, life and death. He admonishes us to choose life that we and our seed may live...

God created mankind in His image and likeness and He created him perfect, and with the ability to exercise personal choice, however; man exercised his personal choice in which was contrary to the instruction of God, he broke God's Law and he was eternally separated from God. Mankind had to be redeemed unto God his creator and the savior had to come through mankind's own bloodline and the sacrifice had to be pure and blameless. That was accomplished through Jesus Christ.

Let's examine:

After Adam, mankind was void of Righteousness, meaning a lack of relationship or oneness with the Father. By default we are sinners, not in degree, but by the extent of sin. Extent means a writ of execution upon a debt which gives the creditor possession of the debtor's land for a limited time until the debt is paid. We were in debt to sin and guilty of the penalty of sin based on the fall of Adam. The whole world falls under this sin umbrella and the penalty of sin that came by Adam. There was no way that mankind could be reconciled to God, except through Jesus Christ, who paid our sin debt and the penalty of sin by dying on the cross.

"Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by Him all that believe are justified form all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses". Acts 13:38-39

Now, I skipped generations of people that include Abraham, Issac, Jacob and Moses and the Law. I will talk about this in another article. In this article I just want to talk about "How to Share Your Faith" and to lay a solid foundation to help you share your faith with purpose and conviction.

For a sinner to receive the remissions of their sin and it's penalty, one has to simply accept what Jesus did. Accept by believing and confessing with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, the Son of God and is the Saviour of the world and that they personally accept his death on the cross for the remissions and forgiveness of their sin and they then turn away from their sin and now they are redeemed through His shed blood and have righteousness or right standing with the Father.

From here on out, they should grow in the knowledge of him by accepting the Holy Spirit which is our guide and companion that enables us to live the Kingdom life and daily reading the Word of God. The Holy spirit teaches in every arena of life, the Spirit renews our beliefs and attitudes, thus modifying behavior, the Divine nature becomes more prominent and is at the forefront of our choices and actions, in so doing; we become more like Jesus.

My computer defines Righteousness as Being sinless in the sight of God; also called 'justification. or the moral perfection of God that is the standard of what is right.

"This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Romans 3: 22-24

It is clearly God's will that all be men be saved. Now, how do you share your faith?

This next video gives clear instructions on how to share your faith effectively and biblically. You may find some of the information contained in these videos shocking. It is truly mind boggling what some people are willing to believe!
