The Game Plan For Unifying
The Imagination And The Spoken Word

"And God said, Lets us make man in our IMAGE, after our likeness.......Genesis 1: 26

This is the first account of man in the Bible, here he is related to as an image. The place of conception of an image is in the imagination! Man is the highest creation of God, and is a creation of God's imagination.

My computer defines Imagination as "the ability to form MENTAL IMAGES or the ability to SPONTANEOUSLY GENERATE IMAGES within one's own mind. It helps provide meaning to experience and understanding to knowledge; it is a fundamental facility through which people make sense of the world, and it also plays a key role in the learning process. A basic training for imagination is the listening to a storytelling narrative, in which the exactness of the CHOSEN WORDS is the fundamental factor to 'evoke worlds."

When a word is spoken your mind conjures up a Picture. Go ahead try it. Say the word BOX out loud. What your mind's eye SEEs is a picture of a Box, that box maybe of cardboard or any color. Your mind does not project letters. Your experience is an image of the object.

It is this picture that helps you to add meaning to the spoken word. The knowledge of the word BOX now brings Understanding. You can conceptualize a BOX, meaning you now know what a box is or can be used for. Because of this exercise you will probably notice many boxes in your awareness today.

"Reason is the natural order of truth; but imagination is the organ of meaning." C.S. Lewis

It is these images that drive you and the spoken word that arranges. The subconscious acts on commands (what you say) and the images you hold in your imagination. It is the images that you are holding and the words that you are speaking that are being created in your outer experiences. If your experiences in life aren't reflective of what you desire, know that you have the power to recreate by saying with your mouth and recreating the images to reflect exactly what you want!

Why don't more of us use these tools to create our lives?

"My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge." Hosea 4:6

What you don't know can frustrate or even destroy you! The problem is always a missing VALUE and the solution will always be to find the KNOWLEDGE OF and then to gain an UNDERSTANDING of.

This story was an actual historical event that took place in a city called Shinar. These were the families of the sons of Noah as they build their nations after the flood. This is a twofold story, one of rebellion against God and the POWER of the imagination and the Spoken Word working together in a coordination of knowledge and effort. Great things can be accomplished when their is Unity of Mind or (Oneness)!

"And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, "Behold the people is one and they have all one language and this they begin to do; and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have IMAGINED to do.". "Go to lets us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech". So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth; and they left off to build the city."

In this story the power of imagination is evident, even more importantly is the spoken word. You see the spoken word gives life the the images that you are holding in your Mind. The spoken word arranges the images into outer form!. God himself said,"and now NOTHING WILL BE RESTRAINED FROM THEM, which they have IMAGINED to do." It took God to put a stop to the Imagination and Spoken Word Process! We see God performing an operation of confounding the Language or Spoken Word to stop the process. This speaks volumes of the power of the Imagination and the Spoken Word functioning in Unity.

Imagination plus Speaking is the Game Plan and Pattern of God and are our most powerful endowments given to us in order; that we will fulfill His purpose for our lives and reach our greatest potential. You may use your endowments to create the life that you wish to live. In any case, an endowment is used at your discretion. You may choose to use it however you wish. It can be used for evil or good purposes. It's your choice.

As we can see from this story, the people made a choice to use their imagination and speech in rebellion towards God. He had given them specific instructions to multiply and replenish the earth and to spread abroad, however; they decided to follow their own will. They decided to stay in the city of Shinar and to make a name for themselves.

The ability to transcend present reality is the most powerful exercise that one can perform. Put tremendous VALUE on these gifts, RESPECT and OWN them! This is your ability to overcome any situation, circumstance or issue.

Imagination and The Spoken Word are the Spiritual resources that allows you to functionally relate to God's Plan and Pattern of creating! You were all created with a purpose. It is He that has given you the dreams and desires. Why would you have to achieve them through ordinary means? If God gave them, who is Spirit, then the means to accomplish the purpose and to harvest the dreams and desires must be Spirit too! A part is the same in kind and quality as the whole; the only difference would be one of degree. God is Infinite and Unlimited and so is Imagination and The Spoken Word. Use your imagination and the spoken word to create the life that you want and 'NOTHING WILL BE RESTRAINED FROM YOU!
