The Game Plan For Making Optimal Choices

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that both thou and thy seed may live.." Deuteronomy 30:19

Well, I don't know about you but that sums it up for me.

When making choices the central question that we need to ask ourselves is: "Is this choice aligned with The Word of God and does this choice operated for the Expansion or the Restriction of life?

Making choices are a part of our daily lives. In every moment we are making choices. And these choices, conscious or unconscious are determining our experiences in life. So, it is of incalculable value that you gain a clear understanding of how to make right choices to help you navigate through life. The goal is to make relative choices with God's Word in mind. Your relationship with God, His WOrd, and others inherently brings you, me and our generations blessings and happiness (Is 61)

Life is all encompassing, which means it's all inclusive, which; means your choices have interdependent ramifications, meaning that they affect everyone around you! So, choices whether infinitely large or small, you should be conscious and careful in making them!

Again, the key in life is to make choices that reflect your relationship with God, His Word and that serve the interest of the whole(others).

Now, how can you make what I call relative choices (choices that relate to the big picture)? in every area of your life and to be conscious of making those choices?

First things first:

Know the principle, then know what you want: God has already created a Law that governs "Making Choices", He said "Choose Life", Know This! Then know what it is that you are trying to acheive. Imagine it as if it were an already accomplished fact! See it. Feel it. Smell it. Talk it. Write it! You must be clear on this. What helps me is writing it down. Seeing it in story form helps me to really get the feeling of my vision. And I am sure this method will help some of you too.

Set the standard or rule to follow: Start your day with: " Today I will witness the choices I make in each moment and make then in the direction of the Expansion of Life. You can post this on your re-fridge or in a place where you will see it everyday.

Ask Questions: "What are the consequences of this choice that I'm making?" ? Does it align with The Word of God. Does it operate for the Expansion or the Restriction of life? Will it bring fulfillment and happiness to me and also to those who are affected by this choice?

Ask For Forgiveness: If you make a choice that transgresses God's Principle and doesn't serve the interest of the whole. Ask God for forgiveness and refocus. Seek Godly counsel, if you discern it to be reputable, follow the instructions given. And remember this is a process. Learning how to make Godly choices daily is a challenge. As you continue on in your efforts your choices will reflect your true Divine nature.

Once you have set this mental foundation. It makes making choices easier because it helps you to weed out those little distractions that are not aligned with God's Word and your life's purpose.

You are interested in definite methods and demonstrated facts only. And the only perfect standard are God's Principles which are timeless, enduring and exact with precision. Your choices are Causes and your experiences are the effects or results..Whatever the effect you wish to experience you must first activate the (Right)cause (Choose Life). You have the ability to control your cause and to determine for yourself how any experience is to come to you. Because you are now conscious of the Principle (Choose Life) and can operate it with conscious constructive effort.

God's Principles are the foundational basis of all good things! Working with God's design, coupled with your correct choices and desire, you now have the winning combination.

Remember:When making choices seek to align them with God's Word! Analyze the situation, does this choice that I'm making is it or is it not consistent with my relationship with God, His Word and does it serve my fellowman? You must enter into a partnership where your personal choices and actions are totally congruent with God's Game Plan.
